During the uncertain changes in the coming years, humanity will discover and embrace its authentic self, unoppressed and unblinded by others' impressions. In the future, mindsets will change, leading to a greater appreciation of inner beauty rather than physical appearance, with traces of geographic, cultural, tribal, and primitive elements woven into everyday life.
The trend of “Impression” started by studying how people perceive others and themselves on their physical attributes. To further explore it, primary and secondary research was carried out. From this research, we concluded the future trend that is divided into three sub-themes. Each theme has supportive visual imagery, a respective color palette, and a fabric range to support the idea and make the trend tangible. Concluding, an archetype was formulated to give a better understanding of the specific persona of the future and the client belonging to this trend.
